Sunset Country Log Beds

Our Log Beds are custom built to be one of a kind, with attention paid to quality and workmanship, .


All the Pine and Spruce Logs used in our Log Beds are hand peeled and lightly sanded for a more natural appearance, then assembled with mortise and tenon joinery and finished with a coat of clear Polyurethane finish.

The Log Headboards measure 48" high and the Log Footboard are 36" high with corner post being a approximently 5" to 6" plus in diameter, also the rails and spindles measure between 1 1/2" to 3" in diameter, with the outside bed dimension measuring about 52 1/2" wide and 91 1/2" long depending on the style and/or size of the Log Bed.

Please note that checking (cracking) of Logs is a normal process of drying and the structural integrity of the Log Beds is not effected.
In time the logs will go to a golden brown finish.

These Log Beds are shipped partially assembled, (you are purchasing a Log Bed frame only) consists of a Log Headboard, a Log Footboard, two Log Siderails (four in the case of a Log Bunkbed), and lag bolts for securing the Log Bed.
(Will supply slats cut to length for supporting boxspring and mattress at an addition cost)
Some assembly is required.

Please allow four to six for delivery.

Our workshop is located 8 1/2 kms. north of Vermilion Bay, a small fishing and hunting tourist town, located in Northwestern Ontario Canada, an hour and haft drive east of the Manitoba border.
From Hwy. 17 at the west end of the town of Vermilion Bay, take Hwy. 647 (Blue Lake Rd.) 4 1/2 kms. north to just passed the Airport, turn right on the Quibell Rd. for 4 kms., you'll see our sign on your right.
